I have three trees, two cottonwoods and an elm, in my backyard (not the featured image…haha) that have to be 40+ years old. They are massive. The developer of my neighborhood could have done me a solid and removed them years ago when they built the house…but they didn’t. It is getting to the point I’m going to have to do something about it. The cottonwoods drop so much trash (dead limbs and cotton-y junk in the yard) and the elm grows out toward my house rather than straight up. It is time for them to go.
Gedore has released (to the States) a series pliers designated the TL series. Gedore’s TL (or dipped handle) series provides an inexpensive alternative to the flagship JC (or 2-component handle) series. The JC series still lead the way in Gedore’s pliers’ series, but there is great value in having options.
I love this decision from Gedore to release this series to the US. We are always pleading with all of our German manufacturers to release more product to the US (especially lower cost options). This is an awesome step from Gedore for us and our customers.

Exciting news out of Wera this week. They were proud to announce that they have partnered with Red Bull Racing. They are one of the top teams in Formula One racing led by Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen. Red Bull Racing and Wera both have a record of branching out of their respective industries norms (i.e. Wera’s Advent Calendar, Wera Tool Rebels slogan, Red Bull’s Flugtag, New York Red Bulls MLS soccer team etc…) which makes this pairing so very cool.
